Theme

Significance of domain orientation in system developments has been widely recognized to convey great relevance to disciplines in software engineering. The aim of the workshop is to bring together researcher and practitioners from academia and industries to discuss approaches and principles of domain oriented systems development. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Methods for Domain Analysis and Modeling - Domain Analysis and Modeling Practice
- Domain Oriented Systems Development Practice - Domain Oriented Reuse Practices
- Domain Oriented Software Process Improvement - Domain Oriented Software Project Improvement
- Technology Transfer into Domain Analysis and Modeling from Object-Oriented technique, AI technique, etc.

Submissions and Registrations

Participant is expected to prepare his/her position paper (two to eight pages) on his/her website and send its URL address to the following. The page will be linked from the DOSD 1999 website. For those who do not prepare the web, MS-WORD file should be sent to the same address.

Structure of the Workshop

The workshop will be one day. The following three speakers will provide keynotes:
Prof. Kang (POSTEC, Korea)
Prof. Jarzabek (The National University of Singapore)
Prof. Itoh (Sophia University)
Following each presentation, participants will discuss their positions on the keynote. As post workshop activity, the discussion results and papers are to be compiled for publication. Editorial board will be organized by the organizers of DOSD 1999.
